How to buy homes at a discount.two repoed homes were bought by banks/trust companies-what will they do with them?
Friday, July 10th, 2009one of them was deutsche bank the other la salle….would they fix them up and try to sell again?? I’m confused as to why banks bought the repoed houses from another bank? why would a bank want to buy a repo?
A bank would want to buy for the same reason a person or investor would want to buy. to make money. they are the only ones who really know what they are going to do with it, but it sounds like they will fix it up and either rent it out or sell it again.

in the event that they do repo, you dont get out from under the loan requirements, you`ll keep making payments, but without the motor home. get legal advice from a qualified lawyer specializing in financial matters, he may be able to work out some thing with the bank to get them off of your back , lower the payments and keep the rv at the same time

Friday, July 3rd, 2009ok good news is ive been accepted for a rural development loan. next news is my offer for 30,o00 on a 90,000 house a bank repo got accepted!! where there are no jobs. many lakes and
in the woods. in nice private location nice and private nothing here!
very nice home.
resale value at least at 50,000 painted up and loved.
But i need a home Im disabled!

A rural development loan is a government sponsored program that lets you purchase a home and the government insures it for the bank. It’s similar to an FHA mortgage, but it’s a bit cheaper and can only be used for a purchase. The rates and terms are pretty competitive with the better mortgages out there. It sounds like you also got a real deal on the home. Since it sounds like you plan on living there for a while it probably doesn’t matter that it sounds like a resale in that market would take quite a while.

This call happened 4/24/09 whereas a Countrywide representative called me, Jason Werner, literally while I was driving home from a pre-mediation conference. The loan amount is less than $50,000.
